This clip was shown in my Archaeology of North America class the other day. I found it to be very fascinating, and felt like sharing it here. The clip was shot by Edward S. Curtis, I believe my professor said; a controversial man, but the clip is interesting nonetheless.
It shows a Kwakwaka’wakw / Kwakiutl wedding party approaching the shore, with people dressed as totemic clan animals dancing on the bows of the boats.
Milosav Druckmüller is, hands down, the greatest eclipse photographer in the world. Fact.

History time in true Morakniv fashion! Here, a wonderful model designed by the world famous Mora born painter Anders Zorn. He created eight special Morakniv knives mad in the early 20th century. The knives had a beautiful decors on the handles as well as on the sheaths. Zorn kept two of the knives himself and the others became gifts for his equally famous painter friends.Today three of the knives are in The Zorn Collections, three are privately owned - one of which belong to Morakniv. Where the other two knives are, nobody knows. A true Morakniv mystery!
